Founder of Change Heroes — 1,000+ people sent on transformational service trips — and creator of LEADR's mission to build 10,000 homes by 2035. His core insight: the fundraising challenge transforms participants as much as the communities they serve.

The Operator
Co-founder of LEADR and TLA's first builder — he and his wife Jenn raised $6,000 themselves to prove the model. Now he leads the team of alumni coaches who guide every builder through their campaign.

When is the next trip?
Applications for the October 16–19 trip are closed — that roster is set and those builders are finishing their campaigns now. We're locking the next dates. Join the waitlist and you'll get them before they go anywhere public — including Instagram.
Does joining the waitlist commit me to anything?
No. It's a notification list, not an application. When the dates are set you'll get an email, and you decide then whether to apply. Nothing to pay, nothing to sign.
So what am I actually paying for?
Nothing to TLA. The only requirement is raising $3,300 for TECHO in 30 days. When you hit your goal, your hotel, Friday welcome dinner, and meals on both build days are covered. You cover your flight to and from Oaxaca.
What if I've never fundraised before?
That's exactly who this is built for. You're paired with a coach who raised $3,300 themselves before ever asking anyone else to — weekly calls, proven templates, accountability. Every committed builder who has gone through this process has hit their goal.
Where does my $3,300 actually go?
Directly to TECHO: construction materials, local labor, logistics, and on-site coordination. TLA never touches the funds, and every donor receives an official 501(c)(3) tax receipt.
Do I need construction skills or Spanish?
Neither. TECHO's professionals lead every build, and the work transcends language. You bring your hands and your willingness to show up.
What if I can't go after I qualify?
Funds stay with TECHO and build homes in Oaxaca regardless, and your spot opens to another builder. The homes still get built.
